It might be unusual to talk about rosé in the depths of winter but here’s one that feels like indoor fun. A bottle made in tiny quantities by nice and friendly pair Vicky and Nahuel, produced with help of wise sage, Fabio of Vinos Ambiz this is one to get you up on your feet.
As with all of this young couple’s wine, there's a vibrancy to this bottle. Something to be opened when wind and rain whip against closed windows but inside, where you are, is an oasis of energy.
On the nose, there are notes of strawberries and cranberries and as well as an earthy, steel-like intensity. On the palate, it’s both refreshing and invigorating, delicate and powerful. There’s a hint of spice and the fruit expression is rendered satisfyingly crunchy by the Garnacha’s acidity. A wine that will set a tingling and in your legs and one that will change your mind about rosé in winter.
